It's Mate in Six!
Silas Peck has sent in this position, from the second round of the current Ipswich Chess Club Championship. Silas was playing Black against Tim Lunn (White, to play).

He didn't miss it, it's just that he made two more moves which were actually the correct first two moves then I lost on time. I don't know if he would have solved it or whether he would have just taken the material advantage.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite easy, but I like that it isn't artificial and it genuinely got to that position.
